Brilliant post Jill!

Thanks for sharing the story – and the metaphor – of Kuru.

As I look ahead to the coming New Year and wonder what it may (or may not) bring, I will try to remember the inspiring story of Kuru, Scarlett, and Trent, especially whenever I feel like a Red-Eared Slider out of water.

Regards,

Jim

Love the story. Work be damned - this is where life really happens! I can relate - for some reason, stray wildlife always seems to find me too: baby duck, baby crow, lame rabbit, and a dog who stayed for 9 yrs. Happy New Year Jill!

I love this post! It was what I needed on a rough day! Thanks for sharing!
